The BHR08 program was heartfelt. I was in awe and inspired by both the organizers and the presenters. I loved the interaction with both the parents/guardians and students. I think that I received more than I gave. I look forward to the next go round. Hopefully then we can have student involvement so that they can show case there talents and organizational skills. A special thanks to all of the BHR committees, we could not have done any of this without you. The Hallelujah singers was the icing on the cake.

I thought that the program was of value to the students, presenters as well as organizers. The students met many successful individuals from East St. Louis, the presenters had an opportunity for the first time to past on their historical legacy to succeeding generations. The organizers had cross-cultural experiences which in my opinion enhanced their lives. To me it is important to continue similiar projects now and in the future.

Life is full of experiences. This experience, I believe, will benefit many not only now, but in the future.
I appreciate all the time, effort and financial support that was received from community leaders, presenters, school faculty, volunteers and sponsors. Those, who only get paid in the joy of watching others succeed and grow from their efforts. Doesn't get better than this! Thanks to all who made it possible.
May this work be blessed and continue on for years to come. May there always be those who put others needs ahead of their own for the good of all.
